Greetings ball gamers!

It's officially Update Tuesday here at the Clubhouse, so we thought we'd drop in with a quick hello and some more teaser art! As for production, all the art from Adam is wrapped, and we're working hard to make sure all the cards are proofed and correct. We hope to get the bulk of the files out to the printer for pre-press operations in the next month, and that will just leave the final revisions of the rulebook. We'll be sure to post about those steps!

Now, how about some more art?

We got requests for more specialty players like shortstops and catchers, so we aimed to please! Also, we had to have some special support for the Clubhouse Expansion, and no ball game would be complete without a barking peanut vendor! Since a lot of the Equipment cards in the Clubhouse Expansion are peanut-powered, you can bet the peanut vendor is going to lend a lot of fun to games that use those cards!

We'll be back soon with more news, as well as information about our presence at GenCon in Indianapolis in early August. Those of you attending the biggest show of the year will be able to take a look at all the cool new stuff, and get some demos! Until then, as always we thank you for your enthusiasm and support. Happy gaming!

All the best,
Chris, Darrell & Mike

Stay Tuned for BackerKit Surveys!
almost 8 years ago – Wed, Jun 15, 2016 at 05:18:54 PM

Greetings baseball fans! Paul here with a quick update!

I hope you are enjoying the season and voting on your favorite players for the All-Star Game! I'll be lucky enough to catch games at three different parks in the NL Central in the next month, and I'm pretty excited!

I just wanted to let you all know that we will be sending out BackerKit surveys imminently! If you don't get an invitation email by the end of the week, and you've checked your spam folder, let us know!

If you're unfamiliar with BackerKit, it's a pledge management tool that is super helpful for us and you. It will let you make modifications to your pledge, even though the project has ended. It will also let you keep your address up to date in a super convenient way. Thank you all, and be sure to get your BackerKit survey answered as quickly as possible!

Notes from the Bullpen

Greetings ball gamers!

We hope you've all had a wonderful spring, and that your favorite team has really rocked it out of the gate (sorry Twins and Braves fans)! Today we're popping in with a bit of info., some art teasers, and the winner of the name-a-pitcher voting.

And now, the news. We are still hard at work at getting everything ready for production, and we'll keep you updated as we get closer and closer to sending files to our manufacturing team at Panda Games. Adam McIver is coming close to wrapping up the absolute tons of art for this game, and we're in good shape with everything else. We'll be sure to post about behind the scenes in the production process, as always. More news as it happens!

And now, some teasers! Below you can see four of the finished equipment cards you can use in the game. Trust us, folks, that Trainer's Table is worth every penny.

And now here are two gentlemen who might look familiar...

The winning name in the last name-a-pitcher vote on BoardGameGeek was Longfellow Byrd. The original suggestion from Tim Collins was Longfellow Randall, named after Big Unit himself, Randy Johnson. The idea was to incorporate a bird into the art on his card, so after a suggestion in the nomination thread it made sense to rename the pitcher Longfellow Byrd, which we all think is truly fitting.

Hope everyone is well! Until next time, happy gaming!

Greetings ball gamers!

Happy Monday! We just wanted to drop in today with an official thank you to everyone who supported the Clubhouse Expansion. This was an awesome campaign, and we are so grateful for the amazing support and enthusiasm. We managed to reach all of the stretch goals, so this expansion is going to be packed!

Thankfully we all got some rest this weekend, but now it's time for us to crank hard on the rest of the production. Adam McIver has been working like a fiend to wrap up all the player and equipment art, so we will be sharing some sneak peeks of things in the coming weeks as we get everything ready to send to the factory - stay tuned! Until then, thanks again, and happy gaming!

All the best,

Rolling Up Our Sleeves
almost 8 years ago – Sat, May 14, 2016 at 09:31:07 AM

Greetings ball gamers!

We are definitely headed into the bottom of the 9th on this campaign, and it has been awesome! Thank you all so much for this final push - we just passed our $58k stretch goal, so now we can include the advanced rules pack with every game!

We still have time for one last stretch goal, and it’s something that many of you have been asking for since the start. If we reach $62K by the end of the campaign, we’ll include a special box sleeve for the game for those of you who would like to display your games with the original box flair!

Please bear in mind that this is a work in progress, so if we’re able to pass the goal we’ll be showing you much more as we provide updates during production.

This will be a promotional item that every Kickstarter backer will receive, but will not be available in the retail version. So be sure to spread that word so no one misses out!

Thanks again so much for all the amazing support. Let’s make these last few hours extra special!

All the best,
Chris, Darrell & Mike
