It's On A Boat!

Greetings ball players!
It’s time for our regular first Tuesday of the month update, and it’s a good one! We’re pleased to announce that the Clubhouse Expansion is at sea, heading for offloading in Los Angeles!
The name of the ship is the YM Maturity.
Here's where the YM Maturity was located as of this morning. You can track the ship over here if you'd like. Just search for the ship name and you can get a route tracker!
At any rate, the scheduled arrival time for the ship is August 8th. The games will be unloaded and processed through customs, then packed on a train to our HQ. The games are scheduled to arrive at the warehouse around Aug. 16th-18th, which, as many of you know, is right in the middle of GenCon. Since the warehouse staff will all be in Indianapolis during that time we will have the freight held until we can receive it that following week and begin processing backer rewards. As soon as we have the games in the warehouse we'll be back with an update and some pics!
Check Those Addresses!
We're going to be locking down the BackerKit in a week (also known as Aug. 8th, 2017). That means all addresses in BackerKit must be final.
Just to be clear, you all have until Aug. 8th to update your shipping address in BackerKit, so make sure everything is set! After we lock down addresses next week, we will not be able to change where your package is going.

If you're eagerly awaiting the release of the Bottom of the 9th digital app from Handelabra Games like we are, you can catch a live stream play of it on Twitch tomorrow! Darrell will join the Handelabra team at 3 p.m. Eastern, so tune and check out all the baseball action in digital form!

Celebrate on the Fourth

Greetings ballplayers!
It's time again for an update from the bullpen. As mentioned in the last update, we were set to receive the MPC proof of Clubhouse at Origins Game Fair - and we did! Darrell and I (Chris) reviewed the proof with Panda Game Manufacturing rep Ben Rosset to make sure everything was in order. And almost everything was - almost.
We noticed that the size of the dice cups seemed to be a bit off so that they wouldn't slide into the box base without a bit of bowing at the sides. You can see the slight bowing in the picture above. As it turns out, the cut of the dice cups were off at the factory and, so, we had a tough decision to make. With the current production window there was a chance that we could receive the games in time to ship to backers and still have Clubhouse at GenCon in mid-August. If we halted production to fix this one thing we would miss the GenCon window because we wouldn't be able to get the games out to all of you before the show.
In the end, we knew we wanted to do it right so we asked Panda to make the fix. And they did right by us as they always have. You can see how smooth the dice cups slide into the box base now in the video below (my apologies if watching it makes you drunk - apparently Panda's factories are in deep space with zero gravity).
At any rate, the rest of the production was spot-on and looked fantastic. Here are some high quality shots of what you'll all be receiving!
The final games are just about finished with assembly and will be packed up and put on a boat soon. Right now the updated timeline for receiving the games at our warehouse is early to mid-August. That means the games will likely arrive during GenCon, and we will begin processing the games as soon as we return from the con. I will post an update here as soon as we have a shipping manifest so you call can track the ship's progress at sea!
Thank you all once again for your patience. This hasn't been the smoothest production, but we're all ridiculously happy with how Clubhouse has turned out. For those of you in the U.S. have a Happy Fourth of July eating hot dogs, peanuts, and watching tons of baseball. Origins and an MPC

Greetings ball players!
It's our usual time for an update, so we wanted to check in and let you know what's going down in the Clubhouse.
Production at the factory has been going full steam since we received the PPC (and showed you all the video in the last update). The Mass Production Copy (MPC) is set to be hand-delivered to Darrell next Tuesday at Origins Game Fair which means two things: 1) we're getting so close, and 2) anyone attending Origins Game Fair can check out the MPC!
Although Dice Hate Me Games won't have an official booth this year, Darrell and Chris will be in the Unpub First Look Room from 10-5 Thursday through Sunday (sorry we don't have a map from GAMA just yet). Please feel free to stop by and check it out! We will also be in open gaming every night so you can always drop by for a demo.
We'll be sure to take pics and shoot some video of the MPC and of Clubhouse fun at Origins for an update once we're back from the show. We hope to see many of you there, and until next time, happy gaming!

Hey baseball fans!
Darrell here with a quick update, I say quick as the reason I am posting this is to share with you the 25 minute unboxing video for Bottom of the 9th Clubhouse! So without further ado, here is the video:
Now, as noted in the video there were a few production issues with this pre-production copy, but we have already worked them out and they have been corrected (with no delays)! So good news all around.
We will be back with another update on our normal update schedule (first Tuesday of June) with news on progress.

Greetings ball gamers,
Happy May, everyone! It’s the first Tuesday of the month, so we’re here with a quick update to let you all know… that another update is coming! We’re scheduled to receive the pre-production proof (PPC) copies of the Clubhouse Expansion on May 6th, and then Darrell will be putting together an unboxing video for you all to check out in a post early next week.
Until then, here’s a peek at the playmat proof we received at HQ. Everything looks great, so production is well underway for that.
